Basil Chimichurri

  • 1 Bunch basil (chopped)
  • 1 Bunch of parsley (chopped)
  • 3 Cloves garlic (peeled)
  • ½ C Olive oil
  • 2 T Vinegar (red wine recommend)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional–red pepper flakes

Combine all ingredients in to a food processor  and blend until the basil pieces are even.

Mustard Toasty Cheese Sandwich

  • Sliced bread of choice
  • Butter
  • Sliced cheese
  • Mustard greens (washed and chopped)
  • 3 T Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional–thinly sliced red onion

Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Throw in the mustard greens and stir until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from the pan and set aside.

Butter both sides of your bread and reduce the pan’s heat to medium and begin to toast one side of the bread. Flip the bread and add slices of cheese, as well as mustard greens, and onion as desired. Top with another slice of bread, toasted side down onto the cheese. Press sandwich into the pan, cover, and cook for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan when the cheese is gooey and melted

Serve Warm.
